Roush Roadster

The Roush Roadster is a custom painted, two-toned cruiser intended for those who want to drop the top, feel the wind blowing through their hair, and watch the world as they cruise by. The base Ford Mustang GT is upgraded by the Roush factory technicians in Livonia, Mich., with a four-piece aerobody kit which includes a front fascia (with lower valence fog lamps), chin spoiler, hood scoop and rear wing.

The most striking visual enhancements are the unique two-color paint scheme - black across the top with a choice of Torch Red, Redfire, Vista Blue, Silver or Grabber Orange as the base. A pinstripe runs along the edge as an attractive break between the base colors.

PT Cruisin’ On The Pacific Coast Highway

Chrysler Group has unveiled two new special editions for spring 2007 – the PT Cruiser ‘Pacific Coast Highway’ and the Grand Voyager ‘Signature’ models. The ‘Pacific Coast Highway’ model makes the great looking Chrysler PT Cruiser even more striking with Ocean Blue metallic paint and a matching interior.

The new PT Cruiser is based on the standard Touring model, and adds cruise control, leather steering wheel and chrome gear knob plus a six-disc CD/radio. The exterior styling has been enhanced with 17” alloy wheels, lowered suspension, chrome bodyside mouldings and tailpipe and a body colour roof spoiler.

The PT Cruiser ‘Pacific Coast Highway’ is available with a 2.4-litre petrol engine and manual or automatic transmission or as a manual-only 2.2-litre CRD diesel version. The special edition model is priced at £15,550 for the 2.4-litre manual, £16,370 for the 2.4-litre auto and £16,725 for the 2.2-litre CRD.

A new special edition Grand Voyager will also join the Chrysler model range in 2007. The Grand Voyager ‘Signature’ model boasts a list of standard equipment to rival any of its competitors.

The new model boasts an overhead rail system with sliding storage boxes, two-tone leather trimmed seats, rear seat DVD system, rear park assist, driver and front passenger airbags, plus three row side curtain airbags, power tailgate and sliding side doors.

The Grand Voyager ‘Signature’ is available with a 2.8-litre CRD engine and is priced from £29,175. Both the new special editions are available in Chrysler Group dealers now.

Peugeot Holland & Holland 4007 Concept

To coincide with the public world premiere of the 4007 at Geneva, Peugeot is unveiling a highly exclusive exercise in style produced in collaboration with luxury manufacturer Holland&Holland, recognised for its spirit of adventure.

Exterior
The pearlescent Hagénias Bronze body colour paintwork combines harmoniously with the vehicle’s chrome detailing to accentuate the exclusive nature of this 4007 by emphasising its power and feline qualities combined with the presence of its style and ‘all-terrain’ character.

Water-resistant leather features on the door mirror casings and roof bars, while the “Holland&Holland” logo, the hood of a royal falcon, is applied to the rear quarter panels. Large 20? alloy wheels, machined from a single block in a unique fourfold design, add presence to the vehicle’s exclusivity.

Mazda Enhances Premacy Minivan Range

Mazda Motor Corporation announced drivetrain and sporty styling upgrades to the Premacy model range in Japan. The new models for Mazda’s popular compact minivan are available nationwide from today at all Mazda, Mazda Anfini and Mazda Autozam dealers. Mazda Premacy is known as the Mazda5 in overseas markets.

New additions to the Premacy lineup include models equipped with a 2.0-liter version of Mazda’s Direct Injection Spark Ignition (DISI) reciprocating gasoline engine and a five-speed automatic transmission (AT). With improved power and torque compared to the Premacy’s existing 2.0-liter engine, the DISI engine achieves fuel economy among the best in its class (its 10-15 mode fuel economy rating is 15.0km/L) and enhanced performance. A new well-equipped limited edition Discovery 3, called the Pursuit, will be on sale in March 2007, for under £30,000 OTR।

Only 300 Discovery 3 ‘Pursuits’ will be available from Land Rover dealerships across the country. Ford Unveils Ford Edge with HySeries Drive

Due to lack of proper hydrogen refueling infrastructure it is difficult for a car to completely rely on the fuel cell। Ford has unveiled a special version of its recently introduced Edge crossover utility vehicle (CUV). This HySeries Drive concept features a flexible vehicle architecture, which allows it to accept a wide variety of powertrain options. The vehicle employs an advanced propulsion technology.

In its current form, the Ford Edge with HySeries Drive uses a 350-bar hydrogen fuel cell (4.5 kg of useable hydrogen) in addition to electric motors, which are fed by a 336-volt lithium-ion battery pack. The car is always powered by its battery pack.

The advantage with this technology is that the battery can be recharged by any of the two ways. Either by plugging the vehicle into a standard home outlet using the onboard 110/220 charger or by the hydrogen fuel cell.

With all these advanced technologies, the car has a high economy rating of 41MPG, an extended range of 200 miles due to hydrogen fuel cell over the post range of just 25 miles due to the battery pack when fully charged.

This is a real good concept from the company that provides them the flexibility to produce a car fit for any domain. The company is looking forward to further improve the version by implementing healthier hydrogen refueling infrastructure, more durable fuel cell components and more cost-effective lithium-ion batteries.

Dodge Demon Roadster Concept Revealed

The Dodge Demon concept is a compact, nimble “roadster with an attitude,” a perfect balance of classic sports car proportion and simplicity blended with modern design and performance। The vehicle will be shown for the first time at the 77th International Motor Show in Geneva next month. “While the iconic Dodge Viper is a dream car for many, the Dodge Demon is designed to be an attainable dream car,” said Jae Chung – Dodge Demon Principal Exterior Designer, Chrysler Group. “The exterior design is simple yet bold, featuring an energetic combination of curves and intersecting planes.”

The bodyside of the Dodge Demon main character line flows up and over the front wheel, then drops diagonally to an angular color-keyed vent on the rear fender that directs cooling air to the rear brakes. In similar fashion, the compound rear fender surface curves up and over the rear wheel, sweeping into a broad diagonal plane extending to the taillamp. The resulting muscular fender form projects boldly beyond the main body, underscoring that the Dodge Demon concept is a rear-wheel-drive machine. c
